Europe's independent AI hardware lab
We help companies make informed AI hardware decisions — with real benchmarks, not vendor marketing.
De-risk the AI hardware decision for European businesses
Europe is losing the AI race — not because the technology isn't available, but because companies don't know which hardware fits their needs. They default to NVIDIA because it's safe, overpay for cloud APIs because it's easy, or do nothing because it's overwhelming.
TensorPi exists to change that. We give companies hands-on access to real AI hardware — from data center GPUs to RISC-V accelerators to edge AI chips — and help them find the right fit through independent benchmarks and expert guidance.
Independent
We don't sell hardware for any vendor. Our revenue comes from testing, consulting, and deployment — not commissions.
Transparent
Our benchmark methodology is published openly. Our tools are open-source. Every claim is backed by reproducible data.
European
Based in Europe, serving European businesses. Data sovereignty and GDPR compliance are built in, not bolted on.
From test equipment to AI infrastructure
TensorPi was born inside a company that builds automated test equipment. During product research, we discovered the emerging world of edge AI accelerators — and realized that our expertise in rigorous hardware testing was exactly what the AI industry was missing.
Through connections in the AI infrastructure space, we saw the same pattern everywhere: companies spending months and millions evaluating hardware through trial and error, because no independent lab existed to help them decide.
So we built one. Today, TensorPi operates one of the largest independent Tenstorrent testbeds in Europe — spanning GPUs, alternative accelerators, and edge AI devices — all available for remote testing by companies that need to make smart AI hardware decisions.
Principles that guide our work
Hardware decisions should be data-driven
Not based on vendor slide decks, HackerNews hype, or "what everyone else is using." Real benchmarks on real hardware with your real workload.
Europe needs its own AI infrastructure
Dependency on US cloud providers is a strategic risk. European companies need sovereign, local options — and someone to help them navigate the landscape.
NVIDIA isn't the only answer
Alternatives like Tenstorrent, AMD, Hailo, and Axelera are real and improving fast. But they need independent validation to earn enterprise trust.
Open source wins
Open models, open frameworks, open benchmark tools. Vendor lock-in is the enemy of good decisions.
